Hints
Mirage Island
Each day, Mirage Island is given a different random number. If the number matches the number that a Pokémon in your party has, the island will appear. This is why Mirage Island's appearance is very rare, and most people will only see it once in their whole game, if at all. If the man in the bottom right house in Pacifidlog Town who is looking out the window says he can see the island, you can Surf there via route 130. The island is the only place where you can catch wild Wynaut and also the only place where you can find the Liechi Berry.
Trainer card upgrade
Each time you complete one of the following, your Trainer Card will go up a rank and will change colour (note that some of them can only be completed after beating the Elite Four).
Become Pokémon league Champion
Win one ribbon in all five of the Master Rank Pokémon Contests
100 straight wins in the Battle Tower
Complete the Hoenn Pokédex
Rare berries
Each day, the Berry Master's Wife will give you a rare berry if you tell her one of the following phrases.
OVERWHELMING LATIAS: Watmel Berry
GREAT BATTLE: Spelon Berry
CHALLENGE CONTEST: Pamtre Berry
COOL LATIOS: Durin Berry.
SUPER HUSTLE: Belue Berry
Mystery Gift
Enter any Poké Mart and go to the clipboard on the counter. Take the survey and enter in the words "LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL". The person at the counter will then tell you that you can now have access to the Mystery Gift option. To make it easier to find the word you are looking for, press Select, which will change the lists to an A-Z mode of all the words.
Glitches
Clone Pokémon
Please note that this only works in Pokémon Emerald. By following these steps, you can clone up to 5 Pokémon at a time and the items they may be holding. This glitch is especially useful for cloning rare Pokémon such as Groudon and Kyogre. Go to the Battle Tower in the Battle Frontier. Log onto the PC there, and deposit each Pokémon you want to clone into a box. Log off and save your game. After you’ve saved, log back onto the PC and withdraw the Pokémon again. Now talk to the lady closest to the PC. Select any level, and then select any Pokémon to compete. You will be asked if you want to save your game. Select 'yes'. There will be a short pause, and then it will bring up the normal save prompt ('would you like to save your game?'). Answer 'no', and turn off your console. When you turn your game back on, your Pokémon should be both in your party and in the boxes on your PC.
